Antislip tiles based on nanotechnology
The companies Endeka Ceramics and Keros Cerámica, in cooperation with the Institute of Ceramics Technology Augustín Escardino at the Universitat Jaume I in Castellón, have obtained tile and ceramic inks with antislip properties based on nanotechnology, reproducing the antislip systems that exist in nature within the project “Desarrollo de baldosas cerámicas antideslizantes mediante materiales y estructuras nanométricas”. A study at the UJI focuses on the importance of mediation in healthcare spheres
The research project analyzes the practice of mediation in two public hospitals in the Valencian Community through cases that involved a team of mediators over two years. After working in CRIT research group on issues of intercultural communication, the project coordinators, Francisco J. Raga and Dora Sales, agree that this study seeks to have an applied approach in regard to mediation and interpretation in health field.
